I am scared Liverpool might make up the goal difference.

50 goals between them Suarez and Sturridge, and they'll be playing Newcastle with absolutely nothing to play for and on their worst run in years, fans turned on the manager, players' minds not on the game, etc.

But let's just have City win tomorrow ffs. Liverpool won't beat Palace by more than perhaps two goals so even if they tonk Newcastle it's still unlikely to be enough, as City will also increase their goal difference in their two home games.

Liverpool do score plenty, but they're chasing another team who score a few themselves. For it to come to GD City have to win their next 3 anyway, which makes it a minimum of 11 to catch up which is tough. If they do happen to put any kind of silly number on the board against Palace though, I'd expect City not to take the foot off the gas in the next two homes games after that making it even harder to catch. It's drop points or win it from a City perspective I feel.

If Liverpool beat Newcastle by nine goals to pip City on goal difference then they deserve it. It has been done exactly once since 92-93 (when the PL started).

I agree that the top team after 38 games deserves to win the league, but that in no way changes the adverse impact that a Liverpool title win would have on Everton as a club and their supporters. Hence, I want to avoid a situation in which Liverpool finish top after 38 games, which is why I am more than fine with Everton losing by a high margin against City.

It all boils down to sportsmanship versus gamesmanship. Sportsmanship can do one as far as I am concerned.

The gig isn't right anyway. Where was Liverpool's points deduction following their administration the other year? Absolutely bloody nowhere, that's where! And it was administration! The owners of the club had their ownership taken away from them due to defaulting with creditors, and then the creditors agreed to sell the ownership of the club to a different entity of their own choice, without the permission of the owners. That, is administration!

Then you have MULTIPLE instances of the RS 'gamesmanship' (cheating) over the years. Even in that CL win in 2005, the third goal was a penalty resulting from a blatant dive from Gerrard, and Dudek was a good 3 yards infront of the goal line during each of the penalties he was involved in after extra time.

Sportsmanship my arse! Special Dispensation FC wouldn't know the meaning of sportsmanship!

Its rubbish to say that the FA sat on their heels. In fact the FA was so pissed at Liverpool that they threw the book at Luton Town.

If we lose, I hope its a peno, there would be a certain degree of JUSTICE.

Good idea. Fouling an opponent in the box in a clumsy manner will be viewed as us trying our hardest to prevent them from scoring. However it is actually a great way of letting them score!

If City play the way they did second half against those wallopers they'll smash us to bits.

Right. I have gone back & forth over all of this weekends matches a dozen times & come to the conclusion that it is basically it is a case of que sera sera. Let the cards fall where they may.

Good luck.

One slice of sanity.

We all knew this day was coming, it's a shame we are not a couple of points ahead of the Arsenal then everybody's mind would be made up, EVERTON all the way. Arsenal will not falter at home to West Brom so my mind is totally made up on this one. I want City to win. I can not stand the prospect of captain fantastic with the premier league trophy.

I am BITTER.. but im a bitter blue and proud of it

I'm abroad. Everton win to secure Europa. The rest of you lot can deal with the consequences. Best of luck and godspeed, lads.

UP THE MO' FUGGIN' TOFFEES.
