I think this game is decided on which manager takes it more seriously given the mad rush of games. For OGS, Champions League qualification is more important than the league cup so I think he may rest some (hopefully Fernandes who was the different last we met) but for us... god we would love a trophy.

Cup final moved to 25th April.
And the reason there, if any even needed to Guess

This season’s Carabao Cup Final has been rescheduled and will now take place on Sunday 25 April 2021, with a 4pm kick-off.

It is the objective of the League to stage the Final with as many supporters in attendance as possible and the decision has therefore been taken to move the Final from its original date of Sunday 28 February 2021 to later in the year.

The number of fans permitted will be dependent on Government guidance in place at the time and it is hoped that moving the date to later in the year will give Clubs and their fans the best opportunity to attend in person.

Going to be a really tough one, but massive opportunity. Would be amazing to win 4 in 10 days against the likes of Chelsea, LCFC, Arsenal and Man U, probably the best stretch in modern history. But if we did pull it off, theres a 33% chance at being matched up with the likes of Newcastle in order to get into the Final.

Be interesting to see if they shift the semi finals back a bit from the start of January too. Be a bit odd having a 3 and a half month gap between the semis and the final

Get past these & I think we've an excellent chance of actually putting some silverware in the trophy cabinet. It's amazing what a little bit of success could do to the player's confidence, especially with a top class manager in charge. Things in football can change very quickly. The hope is what keeps us coming back for more.
