Match Thread Everton v Manchester City 31st March KO 17:30

Pep still hasn't beaten the mighty Everton. Comes from having too much respect knowing what a world class outfit we are. Expect him to play 10 at the back to try and nullify our attacking prowess. If they are lucky a backs to the wall display might just earn City a draw.

Ps is there anyway to hide match threads and any thread created or comment added after KO? About two weeks would do. I am going for a total media blackout.
Yes, RAWK.

The odds for Everton to win are 9-1, in a two horse race.
11-2 on Skybet. Dont think I've ever seen them so high for a home win. City 3-10.

Do you think Pep might rest one or two for the midweek game?. It's not his normal style but potentially our best hope of getting something out of this.

Yes, RAWK.

I would imagine they will be endlessly discussing the match (most likely saying how we rolled over easily to give city the best chance of being ready for mid-week), I don't fancy our chances if we are just going to park the bus which is what we have done when facing most of the big teams (first half from the utd game being the exception), so not sure what you mean?

My post is also more going for humour than the actual truth, although I have the feeling I won't be watching the game or match of the day and in turn I will try and avoid the papers etc. the day after. I hope very much I am wrong and City buckle under the pressure to try and set up a showdown with Utd to win the title on their patch. Let's see.

I always come to GOT some time after the match and read through the posts that you all send while the match is on. I sometimes go
to RAWK to see what they are saying during their match, usually after they've had a bad result, but it's always been deleted.

You asked whether there was any way to hide match threads after KO and that was my answer.

Dont tackle them. Leave them in peace. No injuries for them and allow them safe passage through to the CL game.

We need to focus instead on the derby and how best to scupper Liverpool's chances.

Everton could knock the rs out of champions league?

And people say our season is over.

Going for eight nil City. Cart horses Jagielka and Keane starting while argentine international Mori watches from the sidelines.

Wouldnt be surprised if we start with a 5-4-1 due to most our midfielders being broken/crap atm, Something like this;

Pickford
Coleman Keane Jagielka Mori Baines
Walcott Baningime Rooney DCL
Tosun

Subs: Robles Williams Kenny Schneiderlin Klaassen Bolaise Niasse

Bookies have Liverpool down as favourites for the Everton City game. Kopites are still lumping on it.
