Incase any didnt see it,if true

Everton have decided not to risk Allan for tonight’s game with Manchester City, it is understood.

The Brazilian midfielder, who was on the bench for Sunday’s game with Fulham, has been left out of the squad for the visit of the league leaders this evening.

But the 30-year-old is hoping to be available for the Merseyside derby on Saturday evening.

It is believed that Allan is still not considered as 100% fit and so Everton have opted to leave him out this evening.

He was fit enough to be on the bench Sunday, but now not fit enough to be in the squad?

Right.

To be honest I’d virtually written this game off anyway (more a reflection of how good they are than our own form) so I’m not too fussed about the team. Surprised king isn’t playing though.

Pretty much the same. In years gone by there have been plenty of games where we were big underdogs but sort of thought we might actually get something. This doesn't feel like one of those games, if they're on it we are on the ending of a bad one.

I do however 100% expect to see more commitment from them than Sunday. Yes they've got far more quality but Sunday was disgraceful. At least make them work for it.

As for King, no idea what's going on there. We can't seriously be considering Gylfi as a "false 9" again can we? Can we?

Miracle if we even get a point here. Mainly cos of who the opposition is and the form they are in. We have acquitted ourselves superbly against the top teams so far but this is a different animal we face tonight.

Failing pulling off an unexpected win, I just want something we can build on for the weekend. At least look like we’ve learnt something from recent games, especially the horror shows at Goodison lately. Do the basics at the bare minimum and make City earn anything they get is all I ask.
