There's nothing sad or funny about it. It's just true.

Apparently the truth is a bad thing now?

On the back of a super fun win it's a bit of chip pissing if I'm honest. Would you point that out if we beat Man U or Chelsea? It is true but it's kind of redundant pointing it out. I felt like that at the beginning of the game, after they scored ... but after we got two I was just happy. I am reasonably sure they had players on the pitch who cost more (or it's close) than our entire starting 11 combined (although that is mainly a function of having expensive players like Fellaini out). It's no secret that you can eventually buy (some level) of success and we all know it ... let's just enjoy a good win. Beyond that we just have to hope for a new owner.

Can't believe we won with only 10 players (well ten and a half maybe he wasn't that bad today).

I can confirm them numbers are true

Btw today I thought jagielka was brilliant, my mom, and special mention has to go to anichebe, he was like usual in the first half, and great in the second, if he played like that every week he would be a great asset

At one point, having missed the first minute or two of the 2nd half, i thought that was Gueye, mainly because of the fancy orange shoes. Then i found out it was actually still Vic. Awesome performance today, he just has to build up on it now!

Mancini is hurting real bad.

Man City boss Roberto Mancini: "This game today was incredible. We scored, we had chances to score more, but if you don't keep concentrating for 90 minutes you get punished. They played long ball, long ball, long ball and they scored twice. We had chances ourselves but we were selfish - in football you can't afford to be selfish."

Hahahaha. Six points again Roberto lid. Sniff it.

He is a horrible, horrible snide. I hope they get in the CL and he gets sacked off just before the season starts.

The three points get us nowhere. I'd love to say we achieved something today, but we didn't...unless we as a club are reduced to celebrating a win over the new big boys?

There's still money in finishing seventh instead of eighth. We had Fulham and Bolton bearing down on us.

Awesome?!?!? Wow that player has set some pretty low standards for himself. He had a somewhat poor first half and an almost good second. Granted, compared with his usual performance I guess it was "awesome" but Beckford still created more chances in half a game than that player did in a whole game. Get Becks on!

Regardless, no whining about that player ... great win, lots of fun!

Lescott ... what's the score?

We did play long ball first half, but when we scored the goals it was through decent football. He's just being a bitter Ted.

'Tis what i meant, mate.

Funny thing is with anichebe, the only thing that changed in the second half was his attitude and work rate, he has the talent just need to utilise it. If he played like he did in the second half for the entire game he would be a contender for mom

But yeah, jagielka was great, loved the fact that lescotts replacement scored, along with arguably everton most loyal player

Mate Vic played great in the second half, not too bad in the first, effort was 10/10.

A win is a win, dont be so negative, plus 3 points means not falling to 8th and therefore more money

Call me a deranged psychopath but I celebrate wins over any team.

We're fans who celebrate a good performance and a good win.

We knew the season was over after the Reading game. After that, we can only enjoy our team playing well. And I intend to.
