I think the players are fortunate that there are no fans in the ground as if they were then they would have got it both barrels today.

They also know that Carlo will defend them when talking to the media.

In games like this you need a bit of fire and leadership on the pitch, two things we are sadly lacking.

That's what happens with no leadership on and off the pitch. Seamus has never been a captain, and Sigurdsson is only the Iceland captain because he's the best of a bad bunch of players over the past decade. Seamus consoling Son last year when Gomes had his foot almost taken off said it all about him.

Carlo today, didn't hear a peep out of him demanding more from the players. It was like he knew we weren't going to get anything from the game, which in itself is a disgrace.
I don’t get how ppl like Coleman so much, terrible captain and is awful at crossing. Decent defender but the rest of his game is shocking

I gave it to Pickford as he was the only one who played well,a few who played OK but too many who just are not performing at the moment .
A specail mention for Ritchie ! What has happened to this guy ? He is a shadow of the player we know ,I personally thought he would be on his way this month because of the way he is playing as it has been a long time since he played well .
Also a mention to Alex Iwobi ,if this guy is what Carlo wants then I really do despair ,he cannot cross and for a winger that is a prerequisite .
Today the fault in my opinion was the team selection ,I love Carlo ,yes we are privileged to have him on our current status as a football side but why he has changed a solid defence beats me ( and by the way Everton) .

The squad has no backbone, James was foiled constantly and no one moaned, they should have had at least 2 players off, the ref was horrendous, think it was 4 times he gave them free kick when they where Everton free kicks
Nail on the head.
Coleman should have been in the ref’s ear, badgering him non stop for protection for James.

And there was no one willing to dish it out a bit to Voldemort and co, a bit of retribution.

We’ve got Godfrey who is a bit of a nark, possibly Allan. Apart from that they’re all weak as p1ss.

Agree with this, but on top of that the combinations of players we do have available don’t fit into any system or pattern of play that will dominate games even against poor sides.

We suffer from a complete lack of penetration, aggression and pace in midfield.

Buying another forward in this window ain’t gonna fix what’s broken.

It is not, Carlo could do better with what he has. Leave out Coleman, Siggy. Try just having one GK on the bench. Look to the U23s for a forward surely we have one who can be given a game?

I bet Leicester must be mad watching that.

Wilson could have scored 4 or 5. So, it could have been worse

Zonal marking at corners... rubbish: all our big players standing in a row watching
a small 9 head it in unmarked.

Gotta to get Godfey and Mason back asap and at least keep the defense mean and fast.

So many bad issues about that defeat. But the biggest one for me was that Hendricks
and the Bald Doberman won the midfield struggle - two of the worst footballers.

It's rotten. You just know he's happy to get a hot shower and home to the mansion afterwards. Nice handy day of light training tomorrow.

He should be absolutely fuming with himself after his contribution today. Nevermind with some of his teammates.

The plus side is we know that soft core of the club is slowly being eradicated. Allan, Hamez, Digne, Richarlison are not players who are happy in these situations.

The further we go with Ancelotti the further we get away from this utterly abysmal mentality.
No surprise his best form came at Swansea with zero expectation

he’s a coward

Bolasie couldn’t have been any worse. At least he would have been hungry.
