The referee was horrid. iceman got studded twice and they got the free kick. james got bullied but advantages were forgotted again. just like mick dean in the last game.

yes we played terrible. giving the ball away and hiding. But the officials bias is a thing.

Still. We have Carlo and are premature in his transformation. So lets put it behind us and look to the future.

I think Pickford should have saved both goals to be honest. If you watch his feet on the first, he takes a massive leap to his left and because he is small, he cannot get back across.

As for the second, he is actually outside the near post so it makes it easy for Wilson to just slot it in the far post.

I swear he moves the wrong way sometimes just to make a save look more spectacular than it needs to be and because of that he puts himself with too much to do.

As for Seamus, he needs to be dropped for good. Godfrey or Holgate can do a better all around job and need to be played until we can get a young full back in during the summer

This is all about mentality. How many teams do we come up against who just want it more ?
This is really the crux of the issue. It's why we always struggle against sides low in the table. They are there for a fight and we are there for a nice friendly kick around. We play at an absolutely casual pace that allows defenders to get back and sit the door. If we don't score first we won't win. Pathetic bunch of "professional athletes" we have.
