The 6 Davies did ok at, in front of the back four, that was when we were sitting back and playing Allardyce style in the second half of the season.

Douc and Allan are getting upfield more aggressively this season*, I don’t think Davies’ 6 job exists undrr

Davies and Gomes were abysmal failures trying to plug in for those two at QPR. maybe those can fill in for one of Allan/Douc or be another body in a three

The QPR game was a disaster seems a far stretch from the game vs Spurs where Davies ran the show

To be fair Keane was too but this is his kind of game, against slower teams, with bigger forwards, who pepper the box with crosses, and suck

It seems like the plan has been to not risk them pre-international break so they can take that off injured. Don't see it changing.

We've probably had the easiest start in the whole division

Chelsea have played Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Man City

We've played Southampton, Leeds, Brighton, Burnley, Aston Villa and Norwich

Our regulars did their jobs well and the stand ins look very poor as expected. Voted Allan but thought it could have easily been Mina or Doucoure.
Rondon still looks well off the pace which is worrying. The difference between him and DCL is massive.
Norwich will finish with about 8 points this season but the Villa result doesn’t look so bad after they beat Utd.
Still hard to say where we’re really at.
