When the team was announced at Villa last week every single one of us knew that we had to get a forward in for the Forest game. Are the people in charge not seeing the same problem that is glaringly obvious, can't believe they have done nothing. Typical Everton.

If we ain't gonna score then at least keep a clean sheet. If we can't keep clean sheets then that's a concern in itself.

I'm terrified at the thought that some statistical boffin somewhere has planned the season out already and factored in that we'll lose the first four games before our unspectacular but steady climb to safety begins.

Another game with no decent striker. I’m no Rondon fan but he surely has to start tomorrow. At the very least he’ll cause more problems for their centre backs than Gordon and hold the ball up better. Can’t believe we’ve not brought in reinforcements.
Based purely on the fact that even a broken clock is right twice a day, playing Rondon is the sensible thing to do.

This is an important game for us.

We really don't want to be going into Brentford Away, Leeds Away (Evening game...), Liverpool Home and Arsenal Away on the back of three defeats.

All the more remarkable the level of negligence from Everton to allow us to go another game without an actual striker.
Like we are in any position to be able to write off 3 or 4 games it's gross negligence

Pickford (C)
Holgate - Coady - Tarkowski
Patterson - Iwobi - Onana - Mykolenko
Gray - Rondon - McNeil

I can see Allan also used in a 3-5-2 especially with Onana only being with the team a week but at home we need to take the game to Forest.

Rondon as a focal point is key to help support the ball higher up the pitch and it gives the back 3 a long diagonal pass out if needed.

Hopefully McNeil is on set-pieces to allow our attacking advantage from our defenders and Onana.

Our bench will be very weak with not much I terms of options:
Allan, Davies, Keane, Coleman, Vinagre and possibly Gbamin and Gomes

3-4-3 at home and I suspect Dele and Gordon will have a slight knock and ruled out due to transfer speculation.

COYB!

This team but I’m very confident Gordon will play instead of Gray.
