Davies was Everton's best player after Iwobi tbh. If you play him in a very specific role he can manage.

I think Lampard will stick with 343 but if he did go 433 then that midfield would be decent.

Davies did OK against Villa. Peoples expectations from midfielders in a 343 formation are way off. You will hardly ever see anything spectacular. Show for the ball in possession, do things easy and be positionally disciplined. Be boring.

Davies might not be the solution, but he offer more than Doucoure and Allan that keep forgetting their job and hide from the ball in possession.
