His comment was a bit OTT I'll agree and you lot are having a great season so far.. but I'll just echo @GrandOldTeam 's sentiment - you won't finish 2nd. I'd actually be suprised if you finished anywhere near the top 4 in the end.

Notts Forest are not the 2nd best team in the league lovely club though you are. At best you will finish top 8 which is still a great achievement after last year.

Nearly all their starting 11s this season have only included 1 or 2 signings made in the summer. (Mainly Elliot Anderson). The rest were there last season.

Forest fan here - I agree with you, I don't understand why fans sing it. There was an altercation between some Forest fans near me, as I think some people were trying to stop it. It's an inexcusable chant.
