Ok team performance from mainly second string. Down the left was great. Defence managed well, not a big test. Gordon my man of the match.

Walcott ughhh, proper chugging in moldy pie and chip butties that one...

Antony Gordon MOM for me. Good showing fron Nkounkou and I thought Branthwait was doing OK until his injury.
Massively disappointed in Moise Kean, Tom Davies, Gylfi Siggurdson and Bernard. Not that any of them played particularly badly, it's just that none of them stepped up to the plate to say "I can do a job as good as anyone who played on Sunday"
They are the ones that should have had a point to make. None of them made it for me.
EDIT add Walcott to that list

Sky give sigurdsson motm, not saying I agree but he did play pretty well for a change.
Can find nothing to complain about tonight (apart from Walcott), made 10 changes and was so comfortable. Previously we make 3 or 4 changes and we go life and death with team like Salford.

Roughly translated says... what happened to Theo Walcott? it's not the same one I saw at Arsenal, hopefully this great player will improve

Does Colombian Spanish not use ¿ at the start of a sentence to denote a question?

Edit: apparently it does in Latin America too

The opposition wasn't great but in previous times we have managed to make weak teams look good when playing us.

Virginia had very little to do but did it well.
JJ Kenny did well throughout, solid defensively but maybe lacked the sparkle you would hope to see from a top quality full back.

Keane. Played very well...again.
Branthwaite. . Very solid and composed, a shame that injury ruined his night.
Nkonkou... A real prospect for the future. If he continues to develop he will be a serious player.

Digne is a class act wherever he plays.

Davies... played well throughout. Worked hard was always lively, always available, always Tring to do something worthwhile with the ball.

Gylfi.. I know the opposition was poor but credit where it is due, he did well, showed a good attitude and looked a good player.

Bernard. .. We saw glimpses of the player he can be but he needs to have a strong midfield around him to win the ball and get it to him quickly. .. did very well.
Gordon,.... very good performance. A serious prospect for the future. Great pace, hard working, creative.

Walcott. .. should be doing better against this level of opponent, just didnt impress me.
Kean... finished better than he started, without impressing he should still have had a hattrick. Looked unhappy, even after scoring, a bit of an enigma.
