We struggle to get to 5 passes going backwards and sideways without giving the ball away
to be honest, I stopped watching our brave lionhearts about 4 months ago. They play such awful, unattractive, uninspired football that it was just an unpleasant viewing experience. I have better things to do than watch turgid TV. Fortunately I have GOT to follow the games and I can at least get a bit of humour (mostly sardonic!) out of 'the Everton experience' lol

They'll get Godfrey to do it, he still got a bit of credit left with the fans...god help us if he has 2nd season syndrome
Even if he does, he'll be 10x the player Mason the clown is right now. Honestly, I am just so Frickin angry. It took me every ounce of self discipline not to smash my gaff to pieces. Him and Keane centre back every time - not perfect, but as good as we'll get for the next 2/3, given the facelift needed at LB/RB.

Speaking of which, just play some bin lids there. I'd have torn up Digne's contract at FT tonight. His performance was criminal - ditto Villa at home (and countless others). He needs binning to the highest bidder. I'd take £20m tomorrow.

I don't care if Wolves gang rape us on Wednesday, no more "Italian" football please. I can't take another second! At least the most boring, Hibbert-infested Moyes squads largely beat the teams they were expected to.

I want to see a 4-4-2, with Rich on the left, or on a plane to Dubai for his hols - either way I'm not fussed after tonight's debacle. Failing that, Bernard gets one more shot at this Ev malarkey. One.

Hamez on the right. Not his ideal position, but if our most creative crock wants out (as would be understandable) then what harm could it do? We're out of European contention anyway, and if "Mr former Bundesliga/La Liga winner" is THAT good he'll adapt.

Obviously Allan and Davies in the middle. Doucoure needs to get sharp after his layoff, and 6,000 rabid Evertonians spitting venom isn't what he needs right now, even if it's certainly deserved for the rest of those losers.

So that puts King and DCL up front. Obviously King is plop, hence him never appearing until the 75th minute if he's lucky. Again, I really don't care. Once again, DCL looked like the timid church mouse he was under Goldfinger circa autumn 2017, hopelessly isolated against the Blades' finest goons.

Seriously the King/DCL 4-4-2 can't be worse than the setup we have now. Can't. It just isn't possible. Even having nobody on the pitch is better than the current setup. Both are guaranteed defeats, but having nobody is less painful.

We just do not look threatening, we are slow and predictable and when Sigurdsson comes on and our tempo speeds up then you know you are in trouble..

Doucoure does not look close to being back to his best ,I thought Allan was poor, Coleman very poor and Richardson worse than that.

Iwobi must really have fallen out of favour with CA as the team was crying out for pace and he brought on Gomez and Sigurdsson.
Unfortunately, these performances and results have become predictable now, it didn't even surprise me.

OK, so I've had time to lend a little thought toward the pantomime issue and reckon some adaptation of that movie 'The Santa Clause' would be perfect for Blue Chrimbo. No faffing about with intricate Japanese costumery, just easy to access, old school, elf/fairy/pixie outfits for our brave lionhearts to wear. Problem fixed...simples.
It's probably too late to can this year's, The Mikado, and anyway the mental damage that has wrought on our brave lionhearts has already been manifested results-wise. Cancelling it now is akin to shutting the stable door after the mentally feeble horse has bolted.
But next year's Blue Chrimbo, please, please, can we get back to simpler panto fare.

Love Blue Chrimbo me; and no-one does it better than Everton!!

Time to question the famous Carlo Ancelotti when he can’t rile the team up to beat a relegated Sheffield Utd. His choice of subs 1-0 down against the bottom side was astonishing

Time to reflect has been duly taken .
I do not remember a more lacklustre performance than that .
Maybe it is because it comes NEAR the end of a terrible home season and we are facing the fact that we genuinely could beat the record for home defeats .
I have defended because I believed it to be right but I think it is time to question the lovely guy that is Carlo .I worry that his slippers in Crosby are a bit too cosy and he too has been affected by the "We are caring Everton syndrome"
I do not for one moment regret what EITC do but I suspect it has an effect on the feelings of the players in that all is well and we are achieving great things in the community and they are finding it hard to be ruthless on the field.
I sincerely hope that is not the cause but sadly it is the only option left ,we have blamed every single player and some the manager but still this lethargy continues without any obvious reason ,whilst I think he is a splendid person who has done it all I cannot see what we achieve by playing this style of football.
Our tactics to me seem obvious to the opponents ,we play across the back until one of two things happen 1,we give it away because the players lose concentration ( Yes I suppose I am being kind ) or 2, we hit it up field to one of the opponents players and they get possession anyway .
In the 70 years since I first visited Goodison I have never watched a side in blue that has inspired me so little over the course of the season .
I was there when we got an attendance of 7,000 or so but still there would be someone trying who had a bit of heart playing in blue ,now and may be it is because we see much more of the players off the pitch due to social media they seem to be in it just for a laugh and the money .I personally could not live with myself putting in the performances of these guys ,it would stop me sleeping .
To think that this rabble had until yesterday the chance to play in Europe is hard to take ,we would show ourselves up with these clowns .
One last thing ,I don't think Dine is fit to lace Baines boots ,at the moment he couldn't put a decent cross in to save his life -why he is given the role of corners just baffles me .
How is it so hard to see for the management that we are appalling at free kicks and corners?
I would not be surprised if these players now are going to be as hard to shift as Tosun ,Schneiderlin and Sandro ,be honest would you buy Richarlison Siggurdson or Iwobi going on their season .
Only the lord knows how some of the supporters who started after 95' can cope with this but this season is the most disappointing I have watched ,I feel lower in my gut than when Wimbledon's coach was set on fire ,at least some of the players stood up to be counted .

Did I read correctly this week that DCL was having a pop at Everton Dads, the ones who have seen great teams then are fed this crap, the ones who pay his wages and he wonders why they moan. nearly £600 for a season ticket, I don‘t blame the boo boys.
Seems his little new Manager bounce is well and truly over.
