Hate to say it but Moyes would have leathered some of these players months ago.

True but unless you match the effort of your opponent you will always struggle.

But the reason we're getting played around isn't just because of effort and this obsession with it drives me mad.

It goes without saying, effort is needed, but we also lack any idea of how to attack unless James can pick an eye of the needle pass and he's spending most of his time picking the ball up in our third because we have no midfielder doing it.
