Nobody can overtake us so we’ll deffo start our game on Thursday in 7th place. If we beat WBA, we also deffo go 4th, leapfrogging West Ham, RS and Chelsea. However, RS play Chelsea immediately after our game, so if either of them win, we’ll drop down to 5th. A draw in that would suit us best, as that means we go into the weekend fixtures still 4th

Weirdly, I am more nervous about getting a result V the baggies than Chelsea.

Can't play 2 up front these days, you get swamped in the midfield.

Richiarlison and DCL is by far our most potent attacking force, and assuming we also want to get James on the pitch at the same time too... we need to improvise

I would like to know how many times we turned possession over to them unforced. That has to be sorted and quickly.

No point rehashing the negative aspects of the game. Were not out there and cant affect the outcome. Just enjoy the situation the team is in remember its the first full season so effectively still a transitional season. Unforced errors are just part of the game. We did enough to beat a poor side.

Great win! You shouldn’t dwell on the past but imagine we would’ve beat Fulham and Newcastle. We all would’ve been dreaming! Anytime, time to focus on the next 4-5 games and try and push on.

Fulham also beat Leicester at home. Palace beat United 1-3 at Old Trafford. Brighton beat Liverpool. These results have been happening this season. We were never going to be an exception in this case. There's absolutely zero point getting worked up about them.

Great win that, felt like a huge banana skin before the game and even more so with the line up. Wasnt pretty but 3 points on the board is all that matters. Will suit us to have James back for WBA away. 3 points there and we can go into the Chelsea game full of belief. Played lads!!!

with 13 games to go - we had 33 points from 25 games and were 9th same stage last season, [8 points off 4th]
we now have 43 points from 25 games and are 7th [off course so close to 4th]
