With DCL and Allan looking like they will be back in the team, it should give them a bit more control. Going by the form book everyone knows its a Southampton win

They've got to be winning this game if there is real aspirations to get into europe.

Final score tonight was very misleading, Southampton were all over them early on but confidence went to pieces after Leeds scored.

Cliche but first goal is huge here, get it and we'll win. If not then I sense another immensely frustrating home game.

This is very true, Southampton are a weak over-emotional side (just see discount Klopp breaking down into tears after beating the RS) and it’s so true that early goal for us will likely see them crumble. They’ll come into the game fired up and confident after given us a comprehensive beating earlier in the season but the confidence won’t last if we get a goal or two.

I just checked and when we last beat Liverpool away we didnt win one of our next 10 matches including an away cup tie v Exeter City. HAHA

Last two times we’ve played these they’ve bummed us all over. Last seasons Goodson game we should have been about 4-0 down at half time.
