Guaranteed Saints will come flying out of the traps early second half.. we need to be prepared for that.

We are being overrun in midfield, not Doucoure’s fault imo......

More so his passing and ball retention. The numbers in midfield look ok but we lack width a bit higher up the pitch.

I really like the 4-3-1-2. We need a better RB and one of the 3 midfielders to consistently get the ball forward but I think this is a system we should run with.

Godfrey was lucky as hell there and Holgate got away yet again with staring at the name on the back of his winger's shirt. We need to get another.

Southampton have had a single shot off goal and some of you’s are making out we’ve been battered here. Have a look at the scoreboard, think of the moments where they’ve carved us open (they haven’t) and dry your tears.

Southampton are poor. We need to be much more ambitious.

Do love our defenders but they don't help the team at all, just launching the ball back to Southampton, making it harder for our midfield to get the ball back.

Good first half, offside looked VERY marginal

doucoure, Gomes, siggy and dcl all excellent
Could do with pushing up a bit and showing a bit more attacking intent here though, they’re growing into the game as we let them play, best putting them to the sword

would like to see iwobi come on around the hour mark and have a run at that high line of theirs as they tire

Thank god these are terrible because so are we, no grip on the game, barely string two passes together. Better pick-up because they might get lucky.
