The deadest of dead rubber fixtures for us as the training session atmosphere today suggested couldn't even be arsed standing up when we scored.....

I like your optimism, but we don't have any natural leaders on the pitch as it is, let alone those that would stand up to Martinez off the pitch and demand a different style and approach to games.

If he wins the semi final he wont get sacked until the end of the season. If he loses it though, i wouldnt be surprised if he's sacked a week Monday. Out the cup with nothing to play for, put the fella out of his misery and bin him. Maybe then us fans could enjoy the final 5-6 games.

Now that that's out of the way I must say. I'm starting to get the excitement gitters. It's a big big week to be an Evertonian. The derby and a chance to get in a final v Palace/waftord. Have a great week then brilliant. Have a bad week then atleast there is nowhere to hide for Martinez. So whatever happens it's a mega week.

A very decent performance by six man Everton.

Besic, Murallas, Gerry, Osman and Kobe never showed up. Ross enseres we stayed at 6 Men by being equally poor as Gerry, which wad quite a feat.

I honestly hope today was the final bow of Osman and Kone.
