-oviedo doesnt look the same pushed up,
-baines isnt a patch on what hes been the past few years,
-joel is the biggest goalkeeper ive seen in a while,
-colemans bossness gets even greater,
-alcaraz looks a player,

Good first half. Noticeably better than the Sunderland performance.

Coleman, Distin, Lukaku and Barkley looking very good. Alcaraz pleasantly surprising and the Baines/Oviedo combination is drawing the attention of three and sometimes four defenders, creating loads of space elsewhere.

Clattenburg awful as usual: both Chambers and Lallana should be on yellows for throwing players to the floor.

For them, Lallana and Lambert are menacing every time they go forward and their CBs look composed. They're missing Schneiderlin though.

Southampton have given the best first half performance from a visiting team this season. No fear whatsoever and great intelligent play around our box. Matter of time before they slot one away in the second half. We must score early to give ourselves some breathing space
