Tom Davies just did something that impressed me more than anything else he has done.

He kicked the ball away when the whistle had gone, even though it was our free kick.

Not even joking - it was a pure arlarse, winners thing to do when holding the lead.

This is one thing that's struck me about Davies. Seems to have a very mature head on him.

....Valencia for me. The game was grim and only changed when he came on, scored and then brought down for the penalty.

Ya i agree but he can play cm and has the a uluty to run a game if he has top players around him

Davies does provide us with pace and energy! Not all his runs are intelligent but at least he makes things happen.

Make no mistake like, I've slagged him off but the Valencia sub made a big difference. We were poor until then but we got a comfortable win in the end. I'll take it over being boss and drawing or losing like.

Badly need investment though.

I thought Baines was MOTM, but you could also make cases for Mori, Davies, Lukaku, Mirallas and Barkley. Bunch of great performances today

Valencia also gets an honorable mention as super sub
