Can’t wait for the season to end now, too many there are not good enough. Being outplayed like that in particular was very telling. Worst thing is I haven’t the first clue who realistically will come in to improve us dramatically and not more of the same overhyped bang average fodder. At least the kid Gordon looks enthusiastic and Richarlison goal was good, only positives I can take.

Despite how poor we've been, we threw away 2 points against Newcastle and were shafted out of 2 points against United. Add those 4 on and we have 49. Only 3 behind 6th place.

People need perspective on this season. It was never the one that matter and European qualification was always a long shot.

If after the December Derby you'd offered me 45 points after 34 games, I'd have happily said yes.

I say it every year, but the summer is vital. We have the right manager. We have the nucleus of a half decent team. The right players in the right positions can make a very big difference. As will a full preseason and an extra years experience for some of the younger lads.

As bad as the last two games have been, form wise our record has been won 2, drawn 2, lost 1 since the restart and arguably the Derby should have been a win but for a slight deflection into the post, Spurs would have been a draw but for a fortunate deflection as neither team were good enough and tonight should have been lost in the first half

Yes, I agree. It does not worry me. However, what worries me is that I can not see a clear plan for how CA wants us to play - apart from playing compact defensively.

It would have been great to practice how he wants us to play during this period. In comparison, Arteta has already put his DNA on Arsenal, and it is quite clear what they are practicing. So the results do not bother me, but how we play.

exactly, We were bottom 3 in December after the derby battering Europe never even came into my mind, We've been robbed and we've been crap, We've seen what Ancelotti can do (3rd most in form team in that mini spell) and the lows in Chelsea but just start planning for the summer. We know Gordon might be ready for the step up and we can go from there.

Right I like Gordon and he’s showing a lot of promise as well as DCL but il mention a few moments people will chose not to mention as they have there favourites etc ....... Gordon gave possession away which led to there goal, then played a poor ball through to digne who was acres of space with the goal gaping, Also I’m sure this won’t get a mention .....DAVIES played a lovely ball to DCL which he totally fluffed ( if it was richarlison it would of been a goal)
