Overall, the results since the restart have been OK, but the football, apart from the first half an hour v Leicester has been dismal. I think and hope that
Carlo has a plan, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
I don't think we'll anything at Wolves, and probably not at Sheffield, but expect us to go unbeaten at Goodison Park through Carlo's time here.

“I know that pen disrupted your whole game plan, Aston Villa, and will probably send you down, but hey, we all make mistakes”

Don't worry they will soon bring in VAR for VAR to spot when the video referees make an obvious error..

And that single victory was the 1-0 win over Manchester United in December 2013 when Moyes was in charge.

Think Bobby brown shoes was in charge when we beat utd at OT.

It really pees me off. Burnley win again 1-0 playing crap football and get 3 points. Surely we have overall the better players and yet!!!!!!!!!!!!.

They have a style of football. Everyone knows the role and they stick with it whether or not they are getting plowed or now. Carlo will get it together for us

You know what, I get where you’re coming from with that point, the context makes it worse on some levels. At least we saw some form of ‘improvement’ in the second half but it’s not much. The Spurs game though...up there with one of the worst games of football I’ve ever witnessed
I'm not sure many teams are very happy with their performances in this new end of season kick about. Just taking them as friendlies tbh

We did better than City did the other day in that, although we went behind, Southampton couldn't prevent the equaliser. City couldn't find a way through that defense.
Hopefully, in a year or two we will be able to carve out a way of beating a team like that any time you like.

Southampton are not anything special but we could be something special. We have the cash. Let's feckin' do it.

We’ve been saying that for years and absolutely nothing has changed at the club, if anything our finishing positions been getting worse.
I don’t see Ancelotti’s changing it, we’ve already said we won’t do a lot of business and we will struggle to sign top players.
We are not in a false position, we finish we’re we do on merit, I don’t understand how people see It any differently.

I can't see us getting anything in the game and I'm not even thinking reverse psychology will work. The last performance was dire and the uptick in individual performances I'd expected hasn't happened - poor old Carlo is what I'm thinking at the moment (apart form the cash he's picking up)

Continuity plays a big part. Teams that don't change managers every 2 years tend to have more consistent results I think. It gets used a lot as an excuse but a manager having all his own players really does make a difference.
