I was just thinking the same thing. It’s funny that OPTA has all sorts of stats covering all aspects of the game but I’ve yet to see one showing the number of back passes to the keeper, probably because it’s the only stat we’d be leading by a mile.

Had he shot cleanly, I might say he was unlucky. But the defender took it on to the bar - yeah, Dominic Calvert-Lewin gets credit for forcing the defender into that, but it was pure scruffiness more than anything. He was unlucky if he was entitled to expect to score from that shot - but it was so poor he wasn't. But then, I'm not in a very forgiving mood right now so ignore the rantings of a bitter old man...

Oh understandable, it wasn't Hollywood football by any means.

Honestly right now I say we take any goals as they come.
