I dont think this S'ton team are that good. As the pundits were pointing out yesterday: though they were given a lot of credit for holding Liverpool last week, they did so with a lot of last ditch clearances - which suggests they aren't really set up right defensively to shut down danger.

I see this as a real chance to get morale back with a big away win.
Maybe Southampton aren't that good, but neither are Norwich, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Swansea.

Do you see where I'm going?

I think in all those other games we were expected to win. There's one thing this group of bottlers hate is expectation. That's when they struggle.

Today I would say most would see this as an evenly matched encounter between teams of a similar status and separated by a few points in the table. Historically we do well when we're away to such opposition. The pressure is pretty much off in terms of opponent faced.

I expect a decent win here today given all the circumstances already touched on.

At least I want to see a team that looks up for it, and wanting a win, from start to finish.

They will have good spells in the game, and we will have ours.

It is just so so wrong that a team containing one of the best attackers in the world cannot come away with 3 points more often.

We should be all over them like a rash today, and the players should want to get a result, not just for Koeman, but for us all.

But then, with this lot, we can play a whole half and can't find anything of note to say.

As if some spell has come over them all and they walk around aimlessly like pointing zombies.

Come on Everton, for gods sake, just bloody raise your game and show some interest, for once.

I hope you're right.

Not forgetting that the most chaotic team, Hull City did them as well.
Must win game.
