Loads of wingers, absolute nonsense as backups for the striker or midfield position.

which shows how imbalanced the squad is and it's clear what needs addressing.

And while I wanted more changes, we haven't got them, so the team gets my full support.

If we play with any intensity and desire we're good enough to get a result. So lets hope the kick up the arse they undoubtedly got has worked.

Where would you play Holgate? Put him up against Austin, or take out Coleman who was one of the only players to perform last week?

He obviously doesn't think Davies is ready, and as he sees him every game in training he probably knows better than you or I.

Del has been tosh.
Holgate cb with Williams
that team is stale and has been for far too long
totally agree Del has been tosh, so why not try him behind Lukaku to see if we can actually give some service to Lukaku instead of sticking him on the wing where he's done nothing.
it's like me saying "I hate my job but I can't be arsed changing it". It's up to the manager to change things around so this group of no marks don't feel their position is safe.

The top7 teams in the premiership are actually in the top 7. Which tells me that its a strong league this year with all the good teams. We need to keep up with them try get a few wins going into the window cause we are in danger of dropping into a midtable scrap fast. Get to the window still with something to go for in the league and spend spend spend. Let's limp towards Jan with a win today. COYB.

.....from the games I've seen, I think there's a lot of ordinary teams and it's not a 'strong' league at all.

Lennon will offer us a lot on the back foot and encourage Coleman to get forward more, I would have started Del and Funes but not a terrible team! COYB

tbf though mate, he has also thisseason thought cleverley 'was' ready, so yeah his judgement isn't prefect is it :)

Jags playing again - odds on a pen for saints?
