No time to dwell on the past, licking our wounds and debating what “coulda” and “shoulda” been; we have to dust ourselves down and focus on the next game... Southampton at Goodison Park.

Both clubs are sitting at the foot of the Premier League without so much as a point to keep themselves warm at night. Southampton, at least, will go into the game with the comfort of knowing that even if they go Two Nil down, there is still a chance they will be going through to the next round. Everton on the other hand, at two nil up, will be hoping they can hold on for penalties.

I have a gut feeling that Southampton may just win this, but I'm going to suppress that feeling, push it to the depths of my stomach, and focus on a more positive outcome for the Blues.
