What a load of whingers some Everton fans are on here just reading the thread!

Marco was NEVER going to change the team that much.
He was NEVER going to change the formation.
The bench is probably slightly better than most of last season.

It is progress. It will take time.

I like the way we are taking small steps forward all the time.

We identified who we wanted to buy and who we wanted to sell and have steadily got most of what we want.

Silva has imposed his philosophy on the squad, been very straight with Lookman and is slowly integrating the new guys as they get match fit and settle in, while giving existing squad members the chance to impress.

We are not going to transform into world beaters overnight but we are slowly getting better and better and obviously have much more improvement to look forward to.

Liking what I have seen so far, despite the nightmare pre season results.
