Even at the start of the season, I'd cringe when you walked to goodison and see martinez's portrait. After the season we've had to endure it should be removed ASAP. It was a small time mentality to have it erected in the first place for 'achieving' fifth, now it is a figure of ridicule based on the season we've had.

For me the spurs game at the weekend was a carbon copy of kiev away ( different score line), I just wonder if the players are failing to take on the managers orders or our management team are giving them crazy tactics. The idea of pressing with 2 maybe 3 players while the rest of the team retreat to our 18yd box leaves a acre of space for the opposition to walk into our back four. Either we all press, or we all back off and engage deeper in our half and play counter. This tactical problem keeps happening this year and nothing seems to be done about it.
