Because fuming, booing and inventing all manner of ludicrous things to get angry about makes normal people into Uberfans it would seem.

Then people wonder why England aren't as good as other teams at keeping the ball. The fans don't like it. We finally get a cultured, ball playing centre half and people are on his back for doing what he does best.
