Lad he not only takes away any threat we have on the left, but actively works against us by not covering at all. Upsets the balance of the side by playing too narrow, abandons his reponsibilities to put pressure on the opposition, turns like a 10 tone lorry and has the ball control of an elephant.

On the plus side, Rom likes him and he must have big cajones for keeping that barnet.

Better?

He has a good touch and is decent in keeping the possession. His biggest problem has been bloody holding on to it too long! He does come in central but thats exactly whats helping Rom...the lack of a threat on the left is down to having a young CB at LB. Should look better today.

Its totally OTT saying "control of an elephant" to describe a player who has no issue receiving the ball when under pressure, just to reinforce your complaint about him.

I will agree he definitely is slow and dozy when attempting anything in regards to defense.

Let me get this straight, keepers can't play two games in a week but Barry can play two games in three days?
Robles is not used to it. Asking him now to do so would disrupt his tempo and preparation.

I prefer Robles fresh in goal for this SF.

I agree to a point, I was one of those who thought Lukaku's form was down to Kone, just think though that Kone has look knackered lately.

Looks tired, but for me he is being his own worse enemy. He regularly does a Ross from last season, too many touches and turning into tackles when he has an easy lay off. Often after doing very well to control the ball and turn away from the first bit of pressure. Still offers something for me though.

Kone plays while Gerry and Kev sit on the bench...
