Poor performance today, should have been a draw to be fair, but we've played a few teams off the park and not got what we deserved, last game against Spurs for one, so what goes around comes around.

well done BBC, employing Neil Johnston to write this:

But the Toffees move above Tottenham into a Europa League spot after a sixth straight home league win.

we were already in a european place you beaut. even if city finished 8th we were!

Phew......3 points against a very good Swansea side who never gave up and played some fine football..hate to say it but Shelvey coming on put more pressure on us...thanks to TH for some great saves. We need 6 points from the next 2 games away to keep dreams of 4th alive (I don't really think we will but stranger things have happened) Just go for it Blues and make us proud!!

i think shelvey would be great here, especially in home games against park the bus teams, mccarthy, barkley and shelvey would be a great midfield three. he has the ability to play the through balls we desperately need, can strike a ball beutifully and is also very comfortable on the ball with a great engine. basically a more attacking mccarthy. obviously he's a bit naiive and can suffer the odd moment of head-rush, but he's still young. firmly believe liverpool will regret selling him, he would get in their team now imo, has more to offer than coutinho, from what i've seen anyway.

Shelvey should have been signed from charlton years ago. Now, for the fee it would take there are better players out there.
