They're both lightweight. Pienaar has the edge in getting away from markers since he has a quick turn of speed over 10 - 20 yards when he twists and turns his man. But his passing is woeful. After all this time he still can't weight an incisive pass. Osman on the other hand has a good touch on the ball and generally gets the weight of his passing right. Both are good at keeping the ball moving Martinez-style.
