mirallas deserves to be the whipping boy if any player has totally under achieved this year its him, he dont want to know most of the time, i hope belgium drop him from there world cup squad he deserves it

He will still go the WC, but he is far from guaranteed a starting place, yesterday was another poor performance from him, just doesn't seem interested to me, I would rather see Deulofeu playing instead at the moment.

He'll be at the World Cup.
And it's unlikely the Belgians will rip him a new one of he isn't better then Messi.

I thought the way Barkley appeared to invite/initiate contact with the Swansea player was very similar to what Liverpool are doing every game at the moment. Barcelona and Real also looked for pens in the match this evening. It is certainly something to try and adopt if possible. Suarez has it down to a tee currently. We should be trying for more free kicks around the area too. With Baines, Mirallas and Barkley all exceptional dead ball specialists, it is our most potent weapon.

the amount of times coleman could have gone down but stays on his feet is incredible. could have had about 5 pens last year if i remember.

Not really. He went passed the man, the leg came out and tripped him up. Of course the fall was theatrical and he would have been slaughtered for it on here if it were an rs player.

People need to chill. Swansea are on a terrible run and need points on the board, so yesterday was always going to be a tough game. When you consider how dominant they were against Napoli over both legs in the EL, I think it just highlights how good they are. Doing so well in that competition has somewhat falsified their league position.

Surprisingly, I think that we missed Pienaar to some extent yesterday (Let me explain!). I have castigated him over previous months, but as a team, I believe we retain possession better when he is on the field. However, the downside is, when he plays we seem to be much less clinical in front of goal. It's a bit of a catch-22 situation IMO.

Ah well, 3 pts again and we march on. Bring on the Barcode tits next!
We miss Pienaar badly. It showed yesterday. He's far and away the cleverest midfielder we have. McGeady is pleasingly ace-looking.

I'm so split.

He's done my head in more than anyone this season Pienaar.

But then you could see we missed him on Sarurday.

Yours truly.

Confused in Southampton.

X

Agree so much. He infuriates me constantly, but he keeps the team ticking. I think he messes around too much in the final third rather than sticking it in the box or the net lol

Grade A baller though.
