No idea what we're trying to do with Walcott here. He isn't attacking and he cant defend.

its because Silva's got both gomes and davies playing higher than usual , the inverted triangle with delph.
gomes if staying high on left, davies less so but walcott is dropping sometimes to balance this.
Iwobi is dropping more as well.

This is progress imo.
And there is more attacking intent, and one touch movement.
Much better approach, Silva's giving more of a chance.

Certain things are making it flop -Walcott's passing, Richarlison's falling, and Gomes in general. and a general lack of real quality.
And Gomes is not balancing with Davies well enough - we'll get caught out after half time if it continues, Poch will see to that.

Pickford, Holgate, Davies all good.
Iwobi and Delph playing a decent team game.

I’d be worried that Spurs can’t come out as poor next half. Son has been kept quiet out on the right. He’s moved to the middle and it’ll be a different game.
