Dull this may have been but maybe a couple of the comments on here have been overly negative. We've looked organised defensively and whilst not much has happened in the final third and we've been struggling to exert any authority and get more possession there's no reason at this stage to think we can't pull something out of this any less than they could. Gomes hasn't looked awful as some have suggested - things just haven't quite worked out. Davies looks lively in midfield. This could go either way still so let's stay positive!

Think it might have something to do with the massacre at Goodison last season. He is not letting that happen again so is not letting Spurs play to there strengths.

You’re probably right, but they are there for the taking today imo. We should try and have more of a go at them
