I will say he had a nice run as a sub in 17/18, but even after dropping £22m on him over the summer, he's only gotten 130 minutes through 10 games so far!

Anyway, my only point is that Gbamin was very good in the Bundesliga, so it's really unfair to pass any judgment on him at all thus far

I'm not passing judgement on him but some are going on as if he's a midfield maestro, he has played 2 games how can anyone judge him on that.

probably fair, because by the same token I'm going to go out on the proverbial limb and say those folks also haven't watched him play so couldn't possibly know that either lol

I know, I feel awful for him. He seemed genuinely excited to come here, he was touched by the supporters' immediate getting behind him with the anti-racism banner, he even tried to be humble yet confident in saying he'd try to score 7 goals. It guts me.

Too bad our fanbase wants instant results for the most part, my fear is they'll truly turn on him and ruin a teenager's confidence in himself.
