Based on tonight's performance, yes. We were garbage.

He doesn't deserve to start but I reckon he will on Sunday.

Doubt Silva will want to go with either DCL or Kean up top, meaning Walcott-Gylfi-Iwobi will be the trident of fear behind Rich.
ahh but that is the problem then in a nutshell. If we play him we lose, dont start him we win.

the most obvious answer then for silva is to not play him and focus on the players who are actually winning games, no matter how well (or not) they played over 90 minutes. That is how you turn a losing run around.

Not by resorting back to the same tactic with the same player and getting the same negative result. I mean, 1 or two fair enough but all 6?

Home fans changed that game IMO, the roar of unrest around 55 mins when Coleman lazily jogged into yet another dead end before passing backwards sent a rocket up everyone's backside.

Walcott also made a difference with some actual movement for them to have to think about.

The wide players in this system are basically forwards.

He may prefer playing through the centre, but he should be capable of showing something when he's spending the bulk of his time in the final third.
yes the wide players are forwards. Kean doesn't play out wide and never has. He gets only useless minutes out of position, and you expect him to lay golden eggs FFS

Good result now get the duffer out as we aint winning a carrot as soon as we draw a good side.

We are awful.

Second string of the bottom team in the Prem. We need to draw Oxford or Colchester or we won't be getting into the semis in my opinion. Not the way we're playing at the moment.

However a win's a win. Got to try and be positive. Iwobi looks good and it was great to see Holgate getting 90 minutes and a goal.

The way we set up formation wise still just doesn't look right to me. We shouldn't be seeing such long spells of piss poor performances like we do.

The 1st half was appalling, simply not acceptable and anything like that level of performance against Spurs on Sunday and they'll be out of sight without us laying a glove on them

If this is somehow a turning point, awesome.

I’m in. Truth.

That win just feels as if we will be simply see more of the same.

More 4-2-3-1
More away poor form
More schniderfraud
More side to side to side to side

I want us to win but I can’t turn a blind eye to what I just watched.

I dunno maybe the weekend hangover is spilling into the week

here’s to hoping it’s a turning point.

it was a win
We were good second half though

When is the quarter final?

Hopefully its end of November/ Dec as he'll be gone by then.

Spurs and Saints will see him off imo before the international break.
