With City and Spurs next we need to be atleast 5-6points ahead of the chasing pack as I doubt we'll take more than 1 point from those 2 fixtures.

Must win Monday.

Imagine having the huge headache selection of

Tosun, DCL or Niasse

Until we bring in two recognised goal scorers, not prospects or lads failing in other leagues, then we will be nothing more than a mid table team.

It's that simple

Yep as I said its absolutely embarrassing that clubs like West Ham, Bournemouth, Leicester etc. Have 1 even 2 good centre forwards and we have those 3 wasters.

It was only just a week ago some inhere were predicting us winning at analfield and the same lot are now dreading Watford at home.

We must have some of the most fickle fans ever..

I forgot you lot was predicting 5/6/7 nil against Cardiff too..

Christ alive.

You mean our left winger has..

Forced to play up front cos he's considered better than our actual strikers..

Rico can't lead the line full time. He's only good against certain teams and tactics.
We've played better with him up top. If you want to put that down to the lack of ability of his replacements than that's fine but Rico can't be awful at it and the team still win games and score goals with him up there. I think going forward he will become more consistently a striker than a winger. Even when he plays out wide he comes central and attempts to sniff out scoring chances more than he tries to create or put in crosses. Whether he's out wide or up front he's a goal scorer through and through.

3 things that Silva got right in the game against Newcastle:

1. Richarlson our wide - he is at his absolute best out wide and despite lack of goals Tosun is vital to the starting front line.
2. Bernard playing through the middle - His skills and style of play fit playing a more creative central role but seemed to drift wide often. Solve this with Gylfi and Gomes in there with him where Gylfi keeps central and Gomes stays home while Bernard roams freeing Richarlson and Lookman to cut inside.
3. Lookman for Walcott - Lookman might not be as consistent but is definitely capable of providing more going forward. He also seems to be more on page with creative players like Richarlson Gomes and Bernard making his potential for scoring or creating goals so much higher.

My line up for Monday:
Pickford

Keane Mina
Coleman Digne
Gomes

Gylfi Bernard

Lookman Tosun Richarlson
Going for a 3-1 Everton win with a couple early goals against the crying Watford fans and a goal and assist from Richarlson

He will forever be a goal scoring winger. And that's fine.

Let's not try and turn the kid into Ronaldo here.

Him cutting in from the wide position is just his play style and even suits Digne more. He’s a player that needs to roam and not be restricted to just stay high and central

Silva got us playing like man City.. The only question is will it 5/6/7 nil lads...

Lads???

Never forget this is Everton.
