I have no coaching badges. I can get through most of the Gold Fifa trial things pre match like knocking over vast amounts of Ikea packaging or smashing metal targets hanging in the top corners but that does not make me a coach.

I did think though that McGeady, Kone, and Alcaraz where not good enough for Everton. I also think that Besic should get more time than Gareth Barry who looks knackered.

Why if week in, week out, the fans are calling the same issues out, can our Spanish leader not see it?

Didn't think we were THAT bad.

Was always going to be a case of really grafting to get the first goal, and then when we get it it goes on to be a 3 or 4 niller. We did achieve that but Mirallas messed it up for us.

The main problem with our build up play when there's 40 men behind the ball is a complete lack of movement off the ball....everyone is at a stand still it's quite amazing.

Noticed the crowd was getting on the players backs within the first 10 minutes aswell, really isn't going to help matters. We needed patience with the way West Brom were set up and on a few occasions we did get into some good positions but were let down by the final ball.

Saying that, this form is worrying and needs to change and we are not playing well enough. Next few fixtures are worrying.

So do Carragher and Neville, both of whom said they would not have been anywhere near the action when the penno was being taken.

You just take it for granted the penno will be taken by the designated kicker.

But to argue over whether Jags was in any way to blame is to let Mirallas off the hook.

He lifted the ball like a spoilt brat taking his ball home from the playground if he wasn't allowed to score a goal.

I have seen nowt like it since the day Neville sat on the pitch at half time sulking about sommat.

Well I have to disagree with you, and the esteemed pundits.
Captain's role on the pitch is to run the show. He (Jagielka) should have made sure the designated penalty taker took the pen. Simple. As someone else has mentioned, could you see Roy Keane, as captain, allowing a player to dictate an important issue like that on the pitch? No way. Jagielka is not captain material, never has been. He's not a leader, a driver, on the pitch. That is one element, among many, that is missing on the pitch at the moment.

Seem to remember an incident at Utd several years ago when a player who was not the designated penalty taker decided to take a penalty. I think Utd were well ahead in the game as well.

The captain at the time was one Roy Keane.

I reckon we should do way with an actual manager and just install the FANS as manager. We could do this by bringing out an app for boss blues which gives you a notification when a decision needs making. Then all our FANS can vote and within ten minutes the decision is made by diplomatic terms.

No Besic going off, Bilyaletdinov would be played behind the striker and young Mark Hughes wouldn't have been sold.
