How is a player asking to take a penalty making him a disgrace? That's why you have captains, vice-captains and, damn it, managers to make those calls. You know, just tell the guy under those rungs on the ladder to do one?

You have to point the finger at Jagielka, Baines and at a stretch Martinez here. All Mirallas is guilty of is a crap penalty - the decision to let him take it is totally not on him.
