Must say the highlights of the game were in the second half when some mental lids wearing felli wigs lead the street end in a 5 min rendition of the felli song and then after the foster/odemwingie incident when odemwingie went to explain to the ref what happened, foster turned around and gave the st end a grin reminiscent of the trollface, laughing at his team mate. What a ledge trollolololol.

I missed the game today, watched it on a stream, and I thought Barry Horne was harsh on Jelavic. Not everything he came off but he did more than enough good things. The movement's excellent, he's always there, competing and lots of clever bits of play. It's early days but he's looking a real bargain.

I've seen lots of improvement from Gibson since his second half at Swansea, even against Sunderland he pinged some excellent passes into Cahill and Jelavic, and he took his distribution onto another level today, switching the play and showing vision. I'd still like to see a bit more involvement from him but as someone who hasn't quite been convinced by him as of yet (as a starter) fair play to him for upping his game and coming back even stronger. There's definitely ability there.

Baines was my man of the match, his workload is crazy for our team and he constantly steps up and performs. Forget his overlapping and play in the final third, he starts alot of our attacks with his passing range, drilling balls into our forwards feet from the left back position. There aren't many fullbacks who can do that aswell as he can. He's one of the most consistent players we've had.

He was quite hard on Jelly. Jelly made some mistakes but he was always involved in play. Plus he tried stuff and some it paid off nicely and he's taking away pressure off others. I think he's won more headers off long passes in a month than all our strikers + Cahill combined.

It was mainly a few times he failed to control the ball and a few times his passes were underhit/overhit.

But hey, if we can win 2-0 when our striker plays like that then i don't care.

Plus he still done plenty of good things during the game.

He's going to make mistakes but our D is the strength of this team. The back line plus fellani pretty much broke up any counter attack from a bad pass. We need him to take risks because we desperately need scoring opportunites.

At the very worst today he linked up with the midfield and laid off a few nice balls, particularly the backheel thingy to Pienaar. Not everything came off for him today but I still thought he had an okay game.

We've beat them three times this season now, do we get to keep them? Joking WBA lids ffs.

Easiest win of the season that, all wrapped up by the hour and could have been more. Gibson was really excellent first half, he made the pitch really wide with his passing out to the wings in possession. Fellaini is brilliant at the moment, just one observation. Do you know in cartoons when they have a fight and you see that big dust cloud, like this

when those skirmishes happen in midfield you just see Fellaini casually emerging from it unscathed and cool as you like laying an easy ball off.

An excellent week with three two nil wins and ladies and gentlemen, we are now about the sh*te. 100m indeed.

Onwards Evertonians.

My favorite moment in the match was when Fellani was going forward, Odemwengie tired to dispossess him and ended up on his knees 7 yards behind him. For a skinny guy Fellani is one of the strongest players in the prem.

Given his bad luck in front of goal I think he's due to break out at the end of the season and/or get 10+ next year.

I didnt think Baines was that good today, when he crossed the ball the majority of the time Foster had it in his hands, and when he didnt he just passed it to Pienaar and slowed the move down because he didnt want to cross the ball what so ever.

I think Howard needs to learn from Foster today, every cross that came into the box he got his hands onto and held onto the ball, if any of those crosses were put into Evertons box they would have been punched out - FACT.

Happy with the team today, not a great atmosphere, almost an atmosphere of BRING IT ON though, as if we just expected to win - and that attitude wasnt just in the fans, but in the players too.

Jagielka and Heitinga were good at the back i thought, thought Hibbo had a very very good game, took on two players and he made a vital block when we were 1-0 up.

Gibson first half seemed great, some great cross field balls, and every game he plays im liking him more and more. He gets stuck in more than rodwell, and because he is abit more defensive, it allows Fellaini to get up top abit.

Liking the Cahill - Jelavic partnership. Jelavic constantly looks like he doesnt have the ball under-control, but always manages to get away with it! Liking him upfront. He keeps the ball and makes sure the midfield come into the attack, which is great!

Good goal by Anichebe, but he then ruined it for me, because when we were attacking in the last few minutes, he decided to be part of the Everton defence and couldnt be bothered getting up the pitch.

Oh and Pienaar should have scored - not just the chance where we had some brilliant football - he had a good 3 or 4 chances! Good game though - definitely looked better on the left.

Also, just quickly what happened with Fellaini when he flipped?

Oh and before anyone answers that, thought the referee had a very good game.

Baines was not very accurate with most of his crosses today. However, his defensive work (something he is often criticised for) was exceptional.

Is Anichebe our top scorer now?!
