With the exception of Baines, our back 4 have no composure on the ball whatsoever. Distin and Jagielka hoof the ball as soon as they get it rather than giving it to Arteta or Pienaar. Although in their defence, Arteta doesn't seem to want it either.

I think we've been unlucky to be honest. They've had 2 chances, 2 goals, against the run of play.

However, Howard should have saved that (the second) -- and I am sick to death of saying that this season. Heitinga has been so [Poor language removed] I can't believe it -- how the feck is someone so disinterested being preferred to local lad; future king of Goodison; Rodwell?

Hibbo's had his worst game since the FA Cup final.


However, Baines and Cahill strike again. 6 assists and 8 goals now respectively in the league, for a team playing as [Poor language removed] as us, is quite the achievement.

Don't get me wrong mate, we've been [Poor language removed]. But just unlucky that they've managed to take both of their chances. Replay that first half another 10 times and they'd be coming in at half time with 1 goal at most.

Thing is even if we win this game, and the dust settled - how many are going to be that happy? I'm not. I'm absolutely appalled at the way this team are allowing lesser sides to settle and embarras them.
