Not sure what to make of that team.

On one hand, I'm made up to see the two Nigerians in the team. On the other, I'm mightily pissed to see Coleman dropped. Nev must be injured, so surely Seamus is a better option at RB than Hibbo? Coleman and Vic linked very well in pre-season, and let's be honest, the difference in defensive quality between Coleman and Hibbo is outweighed by the difference in attacking quality. It just seems a tad negative, for a home game against a team leaking goals.

The only reason I can see for Hibbo being in instead of Coleman is that Moyes intends to attack the [Poor language removed] out of this game, and wants a solid full-back in defence rather than a bomb forward type like Coleman so Anichebe is free to do whatever he wants on the right.

I think having Coleman behind Anichebe today would be a wrong call IMO when you consider the Irish kid isn't a top defender and Anichebe is on the come back from injury, and thus won't be wanting to track back all day helping Coleman out.

Fair play, I can see the sense in that. I would argue though, that Seamus is a better defender than we think he is, and the difference between him and Hibbo defensively is getting progressively smaller.

Agree with this.

Hopefully Moyes will make some changes early enough if it isn't working out.

And thank God Saha isn't starting again.

Good point.

I don't mind if it doesn't work, so long as he makes subs at half time -- or the 60 minute mark at the latest. The other day it was the 82nd minute before he made the subs, which really beggars belief.

Agree, but having Coleman at RB would still result in him bombing up the byline all day and I honestly can't see Anichebe being too eager to cover when he does.

The more I look at that side, the more I like it. It's nice having two very different wing dynamics on either side - power and directness with Anichebe and a bit more craft with Pienaar and Baines on the left.

It all depends on Yak today I feel. We need a striker to start putting a shift in as that's the only thing that has let us down this season. The football we have been playing has actually been half decent till we hit the oppos' 18 yard line.

Everton are boss. Even if were not really, this time of the week is though.

The Yak was in good form though, before Saha's return. Then through no fault of his own he was banished to the bench for 3 games. I wouldn't mind if Saha had been banging them in, like, but he was pathetic in those games.

Hibbert !!!What the hell is that about? are both Nev and Coleman injured. Coleman and Victor on the right would be the way to go. Rodwell in midfield and Beckford up front with Tim. He's tried his team and it don't work, we have been scrabling for draws, we need to be winning matches.

I hear your frustration dude..But I think this is an Attacking teams from Moyes...Be Patient i am sure we will ge our just rewards today..

Speaking Of Shifts...Hope Heitinga Puts one in..He very rarely screws up..but He plays like he can't be arsed...

I disagree. I think he's screwed up multiple times this season.

Sidenote: I wonder if Moyes will play a 4-5-1, or a 4-4-2 like he did at Sunderland? Cahill looked good playing as a proper striker. I really think 4-4-2 would be the way against a team as [Poor language removed] as WBA.

He does a job usually. He's quiet but effective. There's no better holding midfielder at the club right now.

Heitinga isn't going to be bombing forward all day but that's not his job. ;)

I'm not feeling all this love for Coleman at right back, in all honesty. He's still to defensively naive. Does anyone actually remember the last few times he played there? I'm sure he gave away a few penalties.

And, in all honesty, Vic in front of him wont help. If he had a RM in front of him willing to track back and help out a lot defensively, then sure. I'm not sure Vic will offer him that.

So, for once, i'll agree with Moyes. Anichebe was very good at RM last season. Coleman's been alright there, but not the messiah some people seem to be making out that he is. Give him time, he'll come good.

No doubt in my mind this is 4-5-1, transitioning to 4-3-3 with Yak/Cahill and one of the wingers complimenting the attack when in the attacking phase.
