You said a team going for the top 4 should be able to carve out a load of chances against a team like West Ham.

I said Chelsea didn't when they drew 0-0 with them. Just saying that West Ham aren't an easy team to play against and we've beat them.

1 or 2 clear attempts is clearly not enough to win a game, when your opponents have a total of 0 of those.

Poor finishing meant not winning by a much bigger margin, but a win's a win. I don't know why you're calling Martinez out for player's poor finishing but regarding playing - we were good, did what we had to do.

Unless you want to have Moyes back, seeing as he won every game, every week, by 5 goals, and instructing players to not play super defensively.

Cuz let's face it, in the last 3 years we've been the West Ham, for the most part.

Well done blues, Arsenal lost as well, catching them is prob our best chance of Top 4, unlikely but you never no, they have a pretty tough run of games coming up and have to come to Goodison yet.

We controlled the game against a stubborn opposition, chances were at a premium but we took one and thats enough. West Ham really didn't have a sniff at our goal and thats the reward for playing keep ball. Guile is what we presently need but that costs a lot of money.

Oh ok, missed my point a bit like. Nothing wrong with being unlucky on the day but we played awful today whereas when Chelsea played them, well we can put that down to poor finishing.
