just seen the red card the west brom fella got,

may just be me but i think that was soft as well

he didn't put any feet into the tackle he just ran into the player like a wrecking ball and took out the guy. yellow at worst.

Don't think McCarthy's tackle was anywhere near as bad as the co-commentator was saying.

OK half but can Jags & Dustin please stop passing it to them.

Also, Osman has been fantastic.
one of the nbc live extra commentators has been horrible...anyone know who it is? i'm guessing an ex-RS.

People are who expect kev to come out firing on all cylinders after 6+ week lay off from a bad hamstring injury after a history of them is deluded. Physically and mentally it will take him a few games to get back into the shape of things.

Hibbert needs to go off and I worry with mccarthy on a yellow can see clattenburg sending him off leaving us with only besic in the middle with barry and Gibson out.

Lukaku was offside. When barkley hit it he was in an offside position irregardless of the deflection. If lukaku was in an onside position when barkley hit it but was offside when deflected by the defender, he would have been onside.

Half-time review

Barkley dive was shameful, don't want to see this from our players
Osman having a good game
Hibbert is shocking, would rather have Garbutt but can understand why Hibbert is at leftback.

Personally thought they both went in the exact same way, and McCarthy was 0.001 of a second later.

wasn't he seconds earlier? if he was later their player would have got the ball and hence gone through mccarthy. at the end of the day, it's a contact sport, people are going to get injured, legs are going to get broken accidently. he's got the ball, if the oppo player is that scared of getting stuck into a tackle like that, they should never have chosen to go down the route of professional footballer.

We are looking nervy with the ball at the back but overall they haven't been under real threat from West Ham apart from the sloppy passes. Correct that and West Ham will be struggling to create apart from lumps into the box. Bit of tinkering needed with the midfield needed.

he may not come out 2ns half tbh, been very unimpressive since he came back. i still don't think we have a formation where him AND naismith can be on the same pitch - unless you play the christmas tree formation with one or three centre mids - which leaves no space for mirallas

Agree with all of that, hope he does come out for the 2nd half and is played in behind Rom. Shift Naisy wide and get Ross on the ball where he can hurt the opposition. I think the team in general need to be a bit less sloppy on the ball, been very wasteful.
