We are so soft and too nice. When Antonio clattered into Joel he should have had a second yellow but for some reason Taylor did nothing. Why on earth is our captain just standing there doing nothing? When that happens we should have 5 players surrounding the reff telling him to send him off. Look at Mirallas second yellow, Noble is there right away getting into the reff with a couple more West Ham players.

We need to be more ruthless and snide, that's how you win things. But we are too nice to do that and nice guys finish last.

If I was in charge I'd make the defense do 20 minutes of solid Burpees before every game - admittedly we'd probably lose the first 5 games as they'd be shredded by half-time but after this interrim phase they'd be leaping like gazelles and tackling like a rampaging herd of water buffalo.

You wouldn't be able to penetrate our defence even with a trident submarine.

Can see why some many are frustrated and fed up mate, this happens too many times.

Problem is for me is that I can see what is trying to happen and that we are really close to it all clicking and being one very dangerous team indeed.

What really annoys me about today, was that the home crowd was back to being great again - don't think I've heard them as loud and encouraging all season, and THATS how they get rewarded.
Before the last 20 minute capitulation, I said on here about the crowd and how that shapes up nicely for our next two, tough, home games. Can bet it'll be the opposite now. On the player's backs again, no doubt.

I know we only had 10 for most of today but losing 2 goal leads is supposed to be unusual in football, we seem to do it regularly!! The way he plays lends itself to inconsistent results. We can't keep having to score 2 or more to win games.
Need to get someone in who will give the team that ruthlessness to see games out.
