I hope he's playing Stones in Barry's position. He'd be class there if he can get his positioning right.

Prob much more likely he's going 5 at the back though. Hmmm

To be perfectly honest Matty, it's not like you, me or anyone else here know how and what is trained behind closed doors, do we? For all we know this could've been worked on for the last 5 months.
You could be right mate but after getting back on track with a few good victories why would you change something that was working.

did he not see how distinctly average we were against a crap villa side after we switched to 3 at the back, why on earth would you do it against the form team and then have mccarthy and barkley as the men expected to keep payet quiet, is he having a laugh.

If this works its a miracle cos i aint seen us have a good game with 3 at the back since the pre season draw with Juve a couple of years ago.

Who with? Besic only just come back from his hamstring, starting him could lead to the same problem as he had in the Chelsea game.

Cleverley clearly still recovering from his cold otherwise he's use him. Leaves Gibson and tbh doubt he could cope with the pace.

Perhaps Stones in Barry's place?
Or even baines in there.
I would rather put in 1 player who was not quite used to the position rather than changing the system were 10 players are lost
