Judging by the fact Stones has been back and instantly in the team, and given the other fact he keeps calling him "the best" every other week, even when he's injured - I'd say he probably does want to shoehorn him in.He can bench stones, he owes him nothing.
Worked at Wigan, he loves the 3-4-3 and bigger it up a couple of years ago. Think its a clever move
(May regret that come 5pm tiday)
It's well known that Moshiri favours 3-4-3, why else would Kroenke block him out?
Even more worrying my friend
Why change the back 4?
Complete lack of minerals from Bobby to tell stones to sit on the bench till he gets his chance due injury or bad performances.
Do one brown shoes.
Wigan were relegated playing with this formation.
IIRC that's the role he played Heitinga/Stones in his first pre-season with us, in the games against Juve and someone else (can't remember who) and we played surprisingly well.In fact, he play stones as a sweeper or anchor man, using his ability to bring the ball out if defence and allow jags and mori to defend.
I'm excited to see how this goes. The fun can start in 2 and a half hours for me
