What makes me laugh is Jags' tackle was so late and probably a yellow and got nothing yet Mirallas gets a second yellow for probably less.

Ref hasn't been good but that was a yellow all day. Kev's got no one to blame but himself.

Mirallas has really let us down here. You could argue the harshness of the yellows but he has decided to put himself in the situation.

Good thing Aaron Lennon does the work of 1.5 men. Gonna be a tough half.

The ref isn't biased, he is just incompetent. He can be swayed to even this up.

Great goal but Mirallas was very stupid for both cards, 2 definite yellows. Lennon has been bright and Barkley's volley would have been beyond boss. We're defending the box well but giving them too much space around the edge and giving it away far too cheaply.

I'd consider bringing on Barry for Stones and go 4-4-1

I think the reason we are doing well is because we have so many defensive players in the squad (Jags, Mori, Coleman, Oviedo, Stones, McCarthy and Lennon). Our current side is also really pacy which is proving in this case to be effective. I wouldn't sub Barry in atm

Not the first time Mirallas has screwed up and got sent off. He should definitely be told his career at Everton is over...

Can't see what role Stones is occupying on the pitch. Not done a thing. Needs to be taken off and a strong midfielder put on in his place, whether they are fully match fit or not. Just need to get 45 minutes out of them.

Robles superb. He took charge of that long throw and cleared it. Exactly what has been needed for a long time, which Howard never delivered for us. Excellent save also. And why wasn't ANtonio given a card for his blatant late challenge on Robles...?

I joined this game shortly before half time. Nice to see that somebody finally had the sense to shave a bit of the Goodison woodwork. But i'm assuming that Mirallas' sending off was unjustified judging from the boos at the end of the half?

Stones off for Besic for me. Besic is more direct than Barry, so we'll be more effective on the counter.

My only worry with besic is with the match being so high-strung he'll do something to get sent off lol although Barry is no stranger to a yellow

Stay on your feet and all that, but to be sent for those two offences is borderline ludicrous. The ref has been an absolute s***house the whole game. That foul he gave on lennon near the end of the half was an absolute joke. He's an absolute fraud and kopite this one

Mirallas sent himself off with that stupid tackle. We cannot blame the ref for that.
