Is Payet back from the dead after Mccarthy killed him at their place ? anyway... didnt watch their game against spurs but seen Pocchetino said spurs couldnt deal with west hams long ball game ! this is what we always struggle against ! hopefully jags and funes mori will sort themselves out and deal with it ! 3 points on sat and we're 5 points behind them with a game in hand and our revival will carry on.

45% of evertonians wishing injury on an opposing player is sickening.

It's a wind up, a bit of 'banter' as West Ham fans would probably say.

They overreacted to a challenge that was reckless but it happens.

Anyway, really on the fence with this one. They've got plenty of players out and our attack is definitely good enough, and with the decent form they're in I imagine they'll attack us, which if our defence is up to what it mostly has been of late could play right into our hands.

3-1 Epebton but it's gonna be a close one. Us scoring first is pretty vital I think.

He blatantly got the ball ref

Thing is, it was a bad tackle and we all know it, but it happens.

Payet carried on for another 15 minutes after that didn't he as well. It can't have helped.

Think West Ham players will concentrate on keeping Romelu quiet as his record is boss against them, just hope this creates space and opportunities for our other players!!!

Please win Everton!!

The 'Payet's ankle' poll thing is just a little black humour in response to the over-reaction of the bubble blowers to the event... I recall Cleverley being sliced and diced by Dier in the Spurs game and we didn't carry on like West Ham fans did.
Anyway, we know what to expect this Saturday...lots of long balls into our box. You do not have to be Einstein to know Everton's Achilles heel.
Usually, I approach our home games with trepidation. But something tells me that this will be a comfortable victory. 3-1 to the good guys... with undamaged ankles all round...
